The listing form asks for the pelt's species (shown by its FTC Fur Products Name Guide name), how the animal was taken, and its condition: tanned, or other. Tanned pelts are ready to use. If a pelt is marked other, its description says what it is, so read it before you buy.
Size, grade and handling vary from pelt to pelt. Look for a tape measure in the photos, check the shipping cost and ships-from state, and read the shop's return policy before checking out.
